Interesting place, nice but expensive gift shop
Beautiful abbey, not really much to do tho. Cute little shop with lots of spiritual books, postcards, and local products. The abbey is located in a beautiful spot in nature and quite easily accessible, with a parking lot nearby. We arrived by bike, which was also quite doable. There is a public toilet and a chapel, which we didn't get to visit.
Wonderful
Unfortunately, I don't know this place physically yet, but I discovered the products of the monks of the Abbye quite randomly and since then, I have ordered them regularly.
Delicious, high quality products at very reasonable prices.
Deliveries are fast and carried out with great care.
I highly recommend them and what's more, it helps support this abbey and its monks, which suits me completely!
I don't know the abbey itself, but particularly the truly exceptional jams concocted by the monks. Delicious products, with pieces of fruit and incomparable flavors, nothing to do with store-bought jams. A low sugar version even exists. I can only wholeheartedly recommend these products!
A place of silence in the countryside where it is good to stop if only for a little time of prayer.
Along the Loire canal, ideal for a short walk.
Not to mention that monastic products are numerous and varied.
I highly recommend their jams! A delight !
Beautiful monastery, still in function. Shop with various products made by the monks themselves. Very commercial, it's a pity that you can hardly visit the monastery other than an exhibition space, chapel and a piece of garden.
A remarkable place to absolutely see. It should be noted that only a small part of the Abbey is accessible to the public (tourists) but the film presenting the Abbey and the daily life of the Monks is extremely well done and interesting.
The small accessible chapel and its garden are full of charm.
The shop selling products made by the community is rich in good foods for health.
